I AM LOOKING FOR PAINT FOR MY TWO KZ1000 MK2.
LUMINOUS NAVY BLUE AND LUMINOUS DARK RED.
DID ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THIS TWO COLORS.

This guy has the luminous blue.

I DON'T KNOW, MAYBE PAINTWORKS? COLORITE SOMEWHERE ON THE EAST COAST MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING THAT MATCHES. THERE AREN'T ANY REAL CODES FROM THE DAY.

I have not worked on matching the MKII colors but they are probably are Candy colors. You can get a half way close match by having your local paint supply store do a computer color match on an unfaded part. It will only get you a metallic car color not a true Candy color.

Yep, he has painted MKII's and done a nice job.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread. Would love to find the Luminous Red paint code and get a set of Reproduction Decals 79MKll stipe kits.

Was told the Red used a gold undercoat and Blue was Silver.Anybody else got any info?

Just wet sand thru the candy color on an old part and you will find the base color....most likely a darker base color than metallic silver or gold. Might be a solid base color with a pearl or flake midocat.
