Airtech Rickman CR Question was created by T_Dub
Would I have to cut my frame on my 650 to fit one of these and make it look decent?

I thjink you will need to shorten the frame.
DutchZ works for Air Tech I believe, and has a simialr seat on his 1000.

This post has a few seats being put on 650s where they've had to shorten the frame:

dont no if you will have to cut it but this may help, the rickman frame is 250 mm wide and the support is about 170 mm height.

You'll have to measure your chassis and compare to the measurements on here:
www.airtech-streamlining.com/vintage/vintageseats_box.htm

RICCR2
Rickman CR tail section

Overall length: 26"
Seat pan length: 14"
Width front: 9.5"
Widest point: 11.25"

Keep in mind the Rickman tanks are long race tanks, and the seat pan area on these seats is quite short (14") so if you measure 14" from the back of the tank, that's where the seat bump starts (unless you scoot the seat back which creates a gap between tank and seat). The seat width is quite generous I don't expect problems there. It does curve up and pinch down at the rear. I think you'd need to cut it right behind the shocks, and the seat bump will have to line up right around there. You may want to measure from this point (right behind the shocks) to the back of the gas tank. I think the Rickman seat may prove to be a bit short with the stock tank.
