Anyone here interested in a gas tank for 82 750H. Tank is straight just needs repainted, also I don't have key for cap. I am not trying to make any money off of this. I just don't have a use for it, and would rather let someone here who needs it have it, instead of listing on ebay.

How would one go about resolving the lid key issue?
Does it include the badges and/or rubbers?
Any pics?
And, of course, what would you need in the way of currency?

The key from my '78 650 will open the '82 650H tank I have, so there's a good chance if you have a key from another KZ it will open.
I know the early tanks didn't have any tumblers in them, just a two part cylinder, that any key that fits in will open.
Haven't had the '82 lid apart yet, but it could be designed similarly.
I can cut most motorcycle keys if you have the key code number.
The # is stamped on an original key, or beside the keyhole on early KZs, otherwise on the side or backside of a lock.
The # should fall into one of these series:
Kawasaki Key Code Numbers:
170-174
175-195
176K-250K
251K-325K
3101-3150

Wouldn't have a pic of the tank would you? I might be interested. Wonder what shipping would be to CA? I sent you a PM.

Hey, How are you. I just had an accident on my 82 KZ750H about two weeks ago. My freshly painted gas tank has a huge dent on the top. I'm trying to get the bike ready for a benefit run for Haiti. I would really like to get the tank off of you if it's in decent shape. Please write back and let me know either way. Also let me know how much your looking for.
thanks,John
