Double wall tank?

Someone told me that Hondas back in the 80s had double wall gas tanks, said all gas tanks are double wall, I don't think this is true, but could explain why bondo is used on tank dents, my tank has two dings on side thinking about removal with paintless dent removal system but it won't work on double wall, need some or lots a input, thanks guys Duke

I had several 80s Hondas and none were double walled. And I had em from 80 to 88 .

I have never seen a double wall Honda or Kawasaki gas tank. What make, model, year are you talking about removing a dent from?

R.P. Nice work on those ducktails and tanks, double wall tank was on a 1985 honda magna, she swears it was double. Tank I'm trying to take dings out on is off a 82 550 ltd thay are on the left side to the rear(smaller part of tank)on upper part of tank, will paintless dent repair tools work?really don't want to bondo it. thanks Duke
