Opinions on best seat cover.

Guys finally have a couple of seam rips on my LTD900 seat cover. Would like to recover it and would like some input/opinions on which ones out there are the best as far as quality and original look. Have bought quite a few things off Jeff( Z1 ENT.)in the past but the pics on his site looked a little different than my stock seat.

Thanks.

I grabbed mine off of z1parts.net for a 1976 kz900. I took it to an auto upholstery guy. I think he charged me about $100.00 to do the job. It is not a perfect fit. They have to do some alterations to make it turn out pretty good. I would give the guy who did mine about a 7 on a scale from 1-10. It looks good on the bike though, I'm just a picky dude.

Corbin is making a seat for the kz900 now. I think it runs about $350.00 . There's a company making full repops on the pan and cover now as well, but the cover is for an earlier z1900 I believe so the fit will probably be great but the pattern won't be correct.

I've bought a couple covers from these people. They are pretty good quality, look good and most important seem to fit really well. Their covers are fairly easy to install but the job is really made easier with a little heat. If you can slip the cover on and then leave it out in the sun for a few hours before doing the final stretch the looks will be greatly improved.

We have a local guy here in Fort Collins that does excellent work. He recovered my 900 Ltd seat this summer. I thought he was very reasonable. PM me if you're interested.
