550 Cafe Racer Tail Fairing. was created by cccampbe
I am trying to find a cafe racer style tail fairing/seat pan for my 84 kz550 project. I don't have a lot of metal working tools and limited experience so I am trying to avoid buying one. Does anyone make them or sell them? Any suggestions would help out a lot, Thanks Guys. Clay

Lots of options, just take frame measurements before deciding on which to order. You'll also have to figure out some way to mount the seat. The tribulations of fitting non-specific parts, but I'm not aware of anything made specifically for that bike (or many bikes other than cb750s for that matter).

You can make your own. You can take the old seat pan and weld on a piece of an old tank or i have seen people use an old army helmet the old metal ones and they cut it and welded it up. Came out pretty good.
