GPz1100 sidecover decals was created by txturbo
I need a favor from someone with an 83-84 GPz1100. I bought a red 84 that a guy started a repaint on. He painted the factory stripes on it so I want to paint the GPz1100 on the sidecovers as well. Can someone take a good closeup picture of a sidecover for me and give me a few dimensions? I need to make a paint mask to cut out on my vinyl cutter.

Why don't you just buy the decals. They are available and it will be cheaper in the short and long run. These links are only two to many that have them.

He makes his own decals with the proper equipment. I would think that would be cheaper than buying. The ones he has done for his turbo 750 look factory. Sorry guy I have no GPZ to help you with.

Well, I guess than, that the link I sent him will help. It has them pictured. He can always scale them by using other pictures.

True on the decals but I think he is looking for proper placement dimensions on the sidecovers also

Thanks anyway...those are way cheaper than the aegraphics ones.I wasn't going to spend $170 to get two decals. But those are a decent price.I ordered a set for the 1100. When they come in I can get a good scan of them for future use.

In that case, I'm glad I could help. I know, Some of these companies are absolutely ridiculous, with what they charge. If i looked threw more of my Kawasaki Links I know i could find a few that sell decals. There are quite a few now.

I bought some paint mask vinyl from the sign making supply place yesterday. It should work better than regular vinyl.I'll try painting all the decals on and if it doesn't turn out good I can always buy the decals and put them over the top with another coat of clear.So....now the wait is on for a good painting day.Looks like it won't be good for a couple days at least.

ReproductionDecals.com has an interesting Important Notice link there on the lower left of their home page. Apparently, among other things, some of their competitors are copying their decals.
