Removing bondo from screw holes,HOW? was created by kzrider4life
My tank is filled on the sides with bondo any idea what the best way is to get it out? It is smoothed over completely,i was thinking air craft stripper to soften the bondo?

Current bike..1977 kz1000 1075cc kit,dyna everything,lotsa chrome,kerker pipe.

heavy duty paint stripper,not the pedestrian grade stuff from walmart ans a stiff wire brush :laugh:

try an auto parts store or a good hardware store ,im guessing their stuff is a little stronger than wallyworld. B)

I usually buy the aircraft stripper from harbor freight or auto zone in the steel can.

try to locate them and drill them out with a small drill bit. And use a small tap to clean the threads out.

A wire wheel on a drill will take it out the a dental pic for the holes. Just did one last month.

If you have a sander /grinder you can sand grind down until you can see the indention then stiff wire wheel on the drill chean out holes install 2 screws to protect the threads .Then soften the bondo and dig it out .Bead blasting is another way but will take longer but it will leave a nice clean indention. All the answers are good tho..GO SAINTS
