Stock colors for a 77 kz1000

I have the 77 kz 1000 with mags,any idea what the stock colors for this bike was? pics would be appreciated if anyone has some.

mostly green,and a couple maroon models ive seen of 77s how about a picture of the bike so we can tell which model you have

PLUMMEN is correct, each model had different color(s). Look on the headstock of your tripletree at the frame VIN...the sixth letter will tell you which model you have...wheels can interchange and after 30 years who knows what the PO was running...and there are aftermarket wheels also. Your choices are...KZT00A, KZT00B, and KZT00C. aka Standard, LTD, or Police

The 6th letter is an A, gonna be tomorrow before pics,wife has the digital cam in her purse and she's at work.............

sounds like an A model,ill go with my origional guess

mine is dark blue with red stripes.

77's were tricoat Candy blue or Candy red. Blue used a orange/brown base color, Red used a pink/red base color. Both used a silver flake in clear mid coat.
