Yes on occasion. Dupont has nice clears. How many coats did you apply ?

2 or three real light mist coats, then another 3 nice wet coats, then sanded and buffed til it was real glossy

Should have left the paint alone. Looked good before, after, just another repaint.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

you cant really tell from the pictures, but the paint was badly faded adn chipping on the top of the tank. Was almost a white color on the top of the tank. If it was in savable condition i would have left it

Yeah i'm looking forward to the new paint on the bike. I might go purple myself on my 1000.

whatcha talking about willis? i won a championship on a bike that was painted that color. i like it nice work jordan not everybike is needed to be kept stock some of them yes but not one that has been abused and neglegted its whole life the fact it will live again and be a real fun bike for some one is good enough.
