heres the process ive used to update my 82 KZ1000P into a comfortable 2-up ride.

First i found a harley passenger seat. i cut the stud off the factory radio box front isolater mount and used it to bolt the front of the seat down.

if you cant fix it with a hammer and duct tape, get a bigger hammer and more duct tape!!

then at the rear the seat bolt hole slid right over the rear radio mount bumper(rubber piece removed.)
as you can see the seat i picked fit perfect and matched with the lines of the rear support rail perfect.
it has great stability and is easily removable for working in that area.

for foot pegs i found a set of 1" bar mount highway pegs. wrapped them around the frame just above the lower part of the hooped area.

since these pics i have aquired a luggage rack/sissy bar.
the setup was found a garage sale for only 5 bucks.

its a kz luggage rack that bolted up perfect to the rear upper shock mounts and crash guard bolts.

Good post...there have been a number of KZR members who have or, at least, have tried to make their p-bikes more spouse-friendly.
