I need a 1979 KZ1000 LTD Gas tank green stock

I have a 1979 KZ1000 in green and need the stock tank with the gree paint and gold/brown feathers

That may be the least common 1979 paint scheme you are seeking (there were three variants, BTW)...if no one can help you from this forum, then you may be stuck with watching eBay for quite some time

I have the same bike that I will be restoring soon.
The plan is to repaint the tank and the "feathers" since the decals are not available.
I found a source for the paint.

Where can I find just a KZ1000 tank, I want to have the one on my bike repainted and find and original to ride with until the newly painted tank, sida panels and tail are done?
Any suggestions I'd also like to find a new seat that looked my like the stock. I'd love any info anyone can give me.

FYI, that paint scheme is called Glaser Green. Same make year and model as my bike. not too many of them around. Anybody know how many were made of each paint scheme that year? be interested in finding out. good luck finding decals for it.
