Luminous Green (part II) was created by 78KZMAN
I posted over a year ago regarding this subject but unfortunately, I haven't done anything yet. What I have learned is that for the most part, there is no way to get the exact color for my 78 KZ1000. That being said, I'm not sure it needs to be "exact". Are there any online automotive paint color charts that you know of? I want to try and eyeball a close match but can't seem to find anything. Maybe I'm googling the wrong info. Have any of you used a green that is at least close to the green I'm after?

Thanks.

I examined a 78 green tail section today by sanding through the different layers of colors. And like the Lubri-Tech info stated it is just a light metallic brown base color with a candy green top coat. :) That being said you can have your local paint supply store do a computer color match from an un-faded part and should end up with a simple metallic car type custom color. You will need to test spray it and probably have the paint store adjust the formula, but that is typical.
