OEM PAINT & CODES

All, Was doing some research looking for stock colors and paints and came across this. www.color-rite.com I got the address from Yamaha as they've discontinued carring their own touch-ups and paints, Looks like the real deal. Luck G

Their "wizard" only goes back to 1986 for Kawasaki.

If you call the east coast location they have more info on earlier codes and formulas for Kawasaki.

Anyone know the paint & color code for a black 1981 kz750?

since there are 80 different shades of black (yeah.. theres 80) i thought i'd ask.

You may be able to narrow it down by checking the online parts diagrams at kawasaki.com and learning the name of the color. I doubt it will just say "Black".
