GPZ style fairing was created by bigpappab
Assuming I get the charging issue (lack of) fixed on the bike, I thought about getting rid of the Vetter fairing and changing to a GPZ style on my 82 KZ1100.
Are there any kits for this conversion or am I going to piece it all together? I found the fairing butwhat about the headlight and brackets?

Thanks

I've got a PDF parts file on the 82 GPZ1100 B2 on my computer. So if you need some numbers let me know.

Some fairing brackets are:

11036-1349 Bracket L.H. (1 each)
11036-1350 Bracket R.H. (1 each)
11036-1439 Bracket (2 each)

These will attach the fairing to the handle bars.
I'm trying to locate the lower attachment part #

B. GPZ style fairings are avail.in many guises, both in round and rect. h/l applications. for estetic value the stock is most appealing to me. but pricy. and unless stock require fabbing mounts. Parts Unlimited offers 2 sizes for round h/l's .Maier plastics an ABS stock replacement. Hope this helps. G

I have a clone Gpz fairing in decent condition with the windshield. It will buff up nicely , no cracks scrapes or surprises. I also have all the mounting brackets including the headlight adjuster the mounts to the lower tree. as well as the upper pinch bolt I have a rectanguklar headlight assembly but not the bucket. You would also need a set of headlight ears with the mounting rubber. I just reluctantly sold my 82 GPZ1100 B2 to move back to Daytona after living in a Foreclosure, not mine but I was kicked to the curb like a non renter paying squatter. Anyway I need a Vetter windjammer mount for a n 82 Spectre 1100 Shaft. I have a Honda mount but with the GPZ oil cooler I added it will be a Pain to fab the whole thing together. Does anyone have a front Vetter mount out there. I have swapped headers from 1000's to 1100's even though the heads are different but so were the heads that designed all his shit. There are a lot of bolt on swapps that aren't in the book. Barry in FL Nobody0857@gmail.com
