84 kz1100LTD PLEASE HELP NEEDTO ID AND ....

NEED HELP ID ING THIS BIKE AS FOR WHAT MODEL IT IS AND I NEED TO DOWN LOAD A SERVICE MANUAL ITS A 84 KZ1100 LTD SHAFT DRIVE PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFO

Without seeing a picture or knowing the frame VIN, I'd guess it is a ZN1100B. It was made for two years (1984/5) but I seem to remember it only being imported into the US for 1984. I can't help you on the shop manual, but I suspect it is a later edition of the KZ1100 Shaft manual covering the earlier 1981/2 KZ1100A and 1983 KZ1100L.

The model designation is ZN1100B1 (USA spec except ZN1100B1L California spec).

Don't know about a downloadable service manual for this model.

A comprehensive selection of parts diagrams is available at kawasaki.com and a few other websites.

The KZR search box feature is also handy for locating information in other threads.

Is there a paticular question regarding paint and bodywork or any other category?

het guys thanks for the reply and thanks you for the warm welcome i had this bike given to me and now im in love with it some one redid the rear of the bike weilding in some stupid fender but i think im going to restore it apperantly it was running up until 2005 onlt 16000 on it any help it always welcomed thanks guys!!

thank you i did a search and found 82 83 kz 1100 but it was all chain drives not for the LTD shaft and no 84s i would love to find an online manual also i kreemed the tank this weekend and next weekend im cleaning out the carbs!
