A guy was looking for a m/c jack and I had one that wasn't being used. He had a Fairing from a VN750 he wanted to trade so we traded.
Anyways I'm now looking for the hardware mounts off a Vetter Fairing for a 1983 KZ750. I've searched e-bay with no luck yet. If someone has one or know where to get one please let me know.
thanks, Sal

A fairing mount off a VN750 would probably be a good start.
On the other hand, if you really want a Vetter fairing mount, you can adapt most to fit what ever you need, I adapted a KZ750 four Vetter Quicksilver mount to a 79 750 twin, and one from a 82 750 twin to a 82 KZ1000M.

I thought maybe the Vetter fairing mounts for this particular bike would be a closer fit than the ones for the VN750.
Did you have any problems adapting the 750 twin mount to the KZ1000M due to the header pipes? That is my main problem with the fairing mounts that came with the Fairing.
I've been talking to a guy here locally that needs the fairing mounts I have and he has the mounts off of a KZ (unknown model & year). I plan to meet with him soon to see the mounts he has. Hopefully we can adapt them to fit my KZ750.
Here' a pic of the VN750 mount

It's in the picture below, right side.
The bracket on the mount with two holes bolts to just below the steering head where the horn is on the 650.
Just to the left of that bracket are the two points that clamp to the motorcycle's frame downtubes. I could measure it up if you like.

Ended up giving it away to a guy with a few VN750's which was what the fairing came off of.
Probably end up getting a cafe-style fairing like this one.
