Will this work

Will this fairing work on my bike? Or is the z1 a lot bigger? I dont want it to look oversized on my bike. I see I'll need clipons, will clubmans work? Any thoughts appreciated. I really want to put one of these on, I really like them. Expensive though, costs about $400 with a windscreen, then you need to make mounts and get handlebars.

i've had the maier fairings before and they are kinda fun and make a big difference as far as moving the air around....they mount really easy too...
i did notice that they seem to sit high on the bike and really changed the lines.....in ran my maier bullet fairing with both superbike and clubmans...makes the instruments look kinda cool at night too...imo...they are the same as the 59-89.00 you see around on sites.... as far as finish they seem the same...good luck...

The Rickman stuff is nice but pricey...don't have a clue about fit...the Maier will, on the other hand, fit fine. If you are keeping the same color as the bike in your avatar, you won't even have to paint...that black ABS plastic with a coat of wax looks pretty good. I had a replacement Maier on one of my early GPz's after a crash and it worked well.

Airtech has some cool stuff, and it's fairly pricy, but I do like to dream :)

I had a link to another site that sells cafe fairings, but I seem to have lost it.

Most of those require clip-ons or clubmans.

Yeah, I guess the Maier would be the best option, much less pricey too.

Yeah the airtech is pricey but really cool. It'd be awesome to have all of it, seat, tail, fender, main fairing. I'd be a real 70's racer then.

I do like the Maier. I have one on my 750. I also noticed that you can click on the 'Select Color' drop down and choose any color you'd like...so long as it's black!!
