kz650 vs kz440 gas tanks

looking at the 79-81 ish tanks
the squared off more coffin looking one i think they are the kz650sr tanks- and the kz440 whats the difference as the pics i have seen they look the same.
1976 kz900 in parts but will be going some day soon

They may look the same but in person with a tape measure they might be different. Plus. I'll bet the mounting system is totally different.
1980 KZ650F1, Bought new out the door for $2,162.98!

i have a 81 kz440 ltd and a 80 kz650E1. the tanks are very different. my 440 tank is almost like a larger peanut tank and my 650 is a lot more squared off. holds more gallons too.
