Where can I find these parts?

I have a few items I would like on my upcoming 1000 project and can't seem to locate them.

1- Brake/Clutch Levers - They are "Power Levers" - this set purchased in the early 80s.


2- Chrome plated allens in sets for the 1000. I found polished stainless in sets, but not chrome.

I would guess that someone has completely dismantled the controls(gutted them) and had them chromed.

You could always adapt to a newer style set of controls,in chrome,but you'd have to rewire to accommodate your wiring set-up.

Yeah, I was a chrome-a-holic back in the day...

I do like the fell of the lever, and would like them on a new bike. I guess getting newer controls may work... it is a project.

I bugged Jeff Saunders to look for a lever source where they carried the crooked levers as shown. Problem is, while you can get various levers to work, both my levers activate switches mounted in the lever holders and I just can't buy any lever. Jeff never found any of the crooked levers to fit my shafty KZ1000E1.
