I have asked before, maybe twice. After not being able to find a left sidecover for my kz750k ltd belt drive i ordered one from babbits (they suck) it took them almost two weeks to tell me that they cannot get that part and my money was refunded($111).

My question is are there ANY other sidecovers that will fit my bike?? Any help will greatly be appreciated, it is such an eyesore to me and the electrics are exposed, there are some on ebay but none specific to my bike. PLEASE HELP, I AM GOING CRAZY:woohoo: Small problem, big eyesore.

According to Mother Kawasaki, the general shape/configuration/peg position of the left side cover should be the same for 1982 KZ750M1, 1983 KZ750K1, and 1984 KZ750K2 (part number 36001-1135-XX) [with the last two digits specifing color, generally]. None of those bikes are overly common so I suspect eBay will be your likely source (unless you get lucky on KZR).

I found two, they are for 750CSR, checked the parts number and they fit, there is an auction for one and one is a buy it now. Either way it will be cheaper than the $111.00 including shipping babbits wanted. I think i see a light at the end of this damn sidecover tunnel. Thanks for the help.

Further to this, there seems to be a few aftermarket manufacturers of ABS side covers for all the KZs and others. Maier being one of them.
I have found a couple sites selling these new, unpainted, but prices range from $20 to over $100.
Anyone have any idea where to source these wholesale or discount?
Ebay comes up short, and I'm tired of being sniped on the ones I do find.

www.denniskirk.com for Maier sidecovers...you can tell online if they are in stock, prices are consistent, and shipping is rapid.
