Can't find a side cover for the 1982 GPZ 750 to save my soul. So, what side cover looks the same on the outside but probably has the different mounting tabs or something? I will modify the side cover or weld the mounting holes in the correct position like the Spectre bike.

I need to cover up his electrics!

Known fitments, since frames and side covers (except for paint color and emblems) IIRC are 100% identical:
'82 KZ750-R1 "GPz"
'84 KZ700-A1 "Sports"
'83 KZ750-L3 "Sports"

I think there might even be a few other KZ750 models (Shaft drive, etc.) with identically shaped covers that mount the same, but I can't recall exactly which models/years they might be right now.

You have it covered for all the identical matches for the KZ750R1 look-a-likes.:)

CR! Beware about trying to adapt an 1000/1100 sidecover to a KZ750R1...they are fairly different...the 750 is actually larger than the 1100 sidecover and mounting points are very different.

Since you posted a pic of the right side cover, I'm guessing that you need the left one?

If not, there's a few decent (some are pricey though) right side covers ( COVER #1 , COVER #2 , COVER #3 , COVER #4 ) listed on eBay right now.

There's quite a few for the ZX750 GPz models and a gazillion (yes, I counted that many! :P ) for the 750 twins listed, but those obviously are diff shaped and won't fit.

Don't forget to check the non-U.S. eBay sites too, most sellers are willing to ship worldwide.
You may also want to consider posting a FREE wanted ad on FindMyPart.com .
