Side cover interchangibility for 1982 KZ750 R1 (gpz 750)

I am missing the left hand side cover off a GPZ 750, a "1982 KZ750 R1" to be exact- the American classix side cover offered for the big GPZ of the same year sure looks the same- anyone know for sure what will interchange here? This bikes electrics are getting fubared because of no side cover!

you can use the ones on a kz 700 or the ones on the kz 750 L3 the only thing that sucks is that its not the same emblems.you just missed a few on fleebay,im sure they'll pop up again.what is it with the left side cover,i was missing mine as well...oh yea btw the ones you have in the pic will not work those are for an 1100 gpz
