Hey all,
Has anyone every had any worthy results with a chrome (or chrome like) paint?
If so, then what brand, etc.
Any pics?
Cheers!

30 years of trying different chrome paints all yeilded the same results....crap. After it's dry it's a shiny aluminum color. If you go to clean it(rub on it) it goes dull. I've tried clearcoats and it turns it to a shiny dull...if that makes sense. It does NOT turn out like the cap at all.

I've got a painter buddy who used this on a couple of helmets and raved about it.

Never used it myself but the pics I saw of the helmet jobs looked pretty damn good.

Yeah, the helmets he painted with it came out SICK too. A little spendy for my tastes though.

I saw an episode of Pimp My Ride on MTV where they painted chrome scallops on a Mustang. They also had on where thy did a whole CRX in chrome. Looked cool but also expensive.

That chrome paint works good I have a friend that uses it too. I do know you put it over black that's been polished out perfect, any flaws in the black will show up.
