suggestions on paint

thinkin bout paintin the 77 kz650. lookin for some suggestions. i'm tryin to go for the old school rat rod kind of look. it's currently flat black i would like to stick with that as a base but im open to suggestions. if any one knows of a website featuring some old school bike paint jobs would love to have them i need to get the creative juices flowing.

Another neat look is flat black with gloss black stripes, or the reverse of that. For a more rat look, I'd stick with mostly flat with gloss details. It's subtle but nice.

I like the scheme that heath mentions above. Also like flat black with the gloss white stripe. Actually, flat black with any kind of stripe is sweet. :)

I was thinkin goin with white, i was thinkin flat black base with a front fifth of the tank white with some white stripes coming back from that. would like some feed back off of that idea or suggestions to improve on it.

Paint it chartreuse with lavender and purple stripe. That will get someones juices flowing

i have a 78'KZ as well.she also needs paint.flat black primered at the moment(looks nice).your not alone my friend.

if you go to the house of color site, they have a lot of flat paints, made for the automotive applications, these will hold up much better than the rattle can, and provide you with better options
