not a master at this posting other side
both paints are ratle can enamils the black is flat email and the green is satin enamil gives a neat contrast in finish I think. Now if I can manage to keep the bike up right I dont think I should have and problems. the original paint did get gas on it a few time with no probkems but after it landed on its side all night the gas ate the paint up. oh well If it goes bad agin I will do it better next time Ihope to atleast get a year out of this before I respray.

You're right the contrast is cool. Are you going to clear-coat? What brand(s) did you use?

You did a really nice job, tankdog.
But I think that gasoline will eat your paint pretty fast. Clear may help, but I'm not sure how much. Carry a rag somewhere on the bike and use it wipe off any spilled gas during fill-ups.

when Filling the tank after the first paint job I doused that thing in a gallon or so of gas because of my lack of thought. I put the gas from the motorcycle tank into a boat tank for ease of storage and an easy way to refill.... Well I put the boat tank above the bike on a lader and started the cycfun but didn't keep my hands on the boat tank and it fell and in my made clumsy grab it doused the whole tank. I wiped it off and grabe a bucket of water and washed it off. everything was fine but the prolonged exposure to the gas from the bike being on its side made the paint bubble.
I like the mat finish of the black. if it goes bad I will break down and actualy buy a pint of a sick color and spray it but I am cheap If I redo it agin I will buy filler and remove te badges all together my next feat with this bike will be a tail chap new lights (signals and tail light) and a solo seat.
