The only bikes that share the part number (while ignoring the terminal paint code) for the 1982 GPz750 (KZ750R1) are the KZ700A1 and KZ750L3 BUT not the 750E models. So it may or may not be made to fit:) but won't be a direct drop-in.

I put a GPz750 front fender on my '78 KZ650C.

I removed the inner metal brace to allow me to squeeze the fender between the forks.
I have a fork brace, so I was not worried about loosing the fender's brace.
I also made new holes for mounting it a little lower.

I tried the GPZ turbo front fender (plastic) and it was an inch too wide.

That fender might fit on a 81 or 82 GPz1000 since a lot of the body parts seem to be the same.
