i jsut took my 83 kz1100 engine off the frame and now i see how ugle it is ... anyway to clean it up and make it look new? can i soda blast it with out taking anything apart off the the engine
Instructions for riding a KZ1100 1) sit on bike, 2) start bike and idle till warm, 3) pull in clutch, put in gear, 4) release clutch and rip on the throttle, 5)VERY IMPORTANT!!HOLD THE F*** ON!!!, 6) Enjoy!! Side effects may include whiplash, wrinkle free skin and an evil smile resembling the"Joker"

I use an etching(acid)type mag/aluminum wheel cleaner on mine.just spray on let it set a few and hose it off use a brush on the really stubborn spots.if it gets on the polished parts it will dull them but it will polish back out.
