Kawasaki Tail Piece

Is their any way to tell a Z 900 tail piece from a kz 900.Thanks for any help

the shape where it goes around the taillight is different. the Z is rounder
if you need a pic, I could get one of the tails side by side and post it.

Didn't think there was any difference between Z900/KZ900?
Z1 is another story though
