Very Sweet! You're lucky that you were able to do the bare/burnished scheme---a butt-load of the original tanks aren't anywhere NEAR in good enough shape to "go nekkid", so to speak!

for now i'm gonna leave the emblems the stock gold, i'm gonna do some experimenting to figure out what i can do with them with an extra set i have. as for the side covers a fresh coat of gloss black paint should do the trick. Any suggestions on how to get the "750 LTD" emblems off/on the side covers for paint?

Getting the side cover emblems off while keeping the little "nubs" that hold them on intact was kinda tricky for me. I ended up carefully twisting off the little keepers on the back side with some needlenose. Still messed a few of them up. When I put them back on, I just used dab of blue silicone sealer on the back of the emblem, and also on the inside where the "nubs" poke through. They stayed on very well.
Also, I love the tank!! I tried to go bare metal, but I had a few to many dents in mine.

sexy tank! i have seen it in person, and it is amazing! The pictures dont do the finish any justice, but when seen in person this tank really shines!
