I know it could be expensive, but my tank really isn't in bad shape but I want it to be as close to perfect as it can be before I ship it to Mark so that he can apply his magic.
Any thoughts or experience with this company?
Thanks,
Jim

FWIW, about 3 years ago I had my ZN700 tank boiled out and lined by a radiator shop (Ricks' Radiator) that my friends and I have been going to for years before having Mark Wing paint it. It took just 3 days to complete, and only cost me $45. :woohoo:
The plus part was, the boiling process prepped the outside surface by removing all the layers of crappy rattle-can paint that was applied by the bikes PO, which I'm sure saved Mark a little time and effort.
If you can't find a radiator shop near you that's willing to do it (or is to pricey), shoot Mark a PM and fly my idea past him.
Heck, I work close enough to Mark that you could ship the tank to me (Rick's Radiator is only 5 mins from my house) to have it boiled out and lined, and then I can hand-deliver it to Mark when it's ready for painting.
Let us know if you're interested, and I can call Rick for a current price quote and see what the turn-around time will be.

I can fix it for you and I have a sand blaster that lines tanks. I'm sure it'd be less money too.
See, I just knew that Mark would be able to help you out, and for less $$$ to boot!

Sorry to hijack, but whats the deal with Mark? Does he paint peoples stuff by mail? Thats pretty awesome. Any pics of his work?
IMHO, Mark is an excellent painter/body work man, but I don't think that even he can paint stuff through the mail.
Just funnin' ya.
Here's a few pic links to the killer paint job he did on my ZN700 a couple of years ago.

Trust me, these pics don't do the marbelized flames justice.
They are literally mesmerizing in the right lighting!
It gets nothing but compliments where ever I go, and most folks swear that I spent at least a couple of grand on it. :woohoo:

When I'm ready, I'm going to wrangle him into doing something cool for my 650's paint job.:woohoo:
Check out the gallery under Marks name, and you can see all of the (IIRC, in 5 seperate body sets) paint schemes he's done on his 650.
