I was looking on Z1 Enterprises and they have side covers for the Z1. I have a 78 KZ1000 B2 LTD will they fit on this bike?

The short answer is no. Sidecovers that fit your bike will come used from eBay...these (OEM) will vary in condition and price (from US35.00 to $70.00 each). Aftermarket side covers for your bike are made by Maier and are still available (check www.DennisKirk.com ) and they should be about US$32.00 each. The drawback (and surprise) is that the Maier sidecovers have no mounting pegs. Instead, you have to drill holes to mount them via screws (included in the kit). Certainly different that OEM, but they will never blow off again.

If you search on eBay, side covers that will fit your bike are from models KZ900A/B, KZ1000A1/2, and KZ1000B1/2/3/4 Remember that the badges on most of these bikes differ, but the basic design of the sidecover works on your bike. :)
