KZ 650 Front Fender Options

'79 KZ650 B3

It has the old style front fender with the bracing strut. I want to go to something more modern looking. I saw this one, it's on an '83 ZN700. The forks look the same, would this bolt up? What else might work?

Well you could always cut it off, i've seen that done. I've got this maier superbike fender on mine.

I can't tell well enough from that little pic, but I believe that '83 has the axle in front of the forks, so the fender will be offset as well.

I've had an LTD 900/1000 front fender on, which is shorter than stock. Only thing is it allowed water to spray up under my gas tank and shorted out the electrics. :pinch:
Just needed to drill new mount holes to sit right:



I now hav an '83 (I believe) GPz750 front fender. It's wider, and needs to be squeeze to get in. New mount holes drilled again:
