I am building a CB350 just for something to do. I am trying to decide on what body combination to go with. Here are the options.

Yamaha XS tank and tail

The shorter tail and KZ tank looks better on there then the KZ tail. Its got the correct color and im sure your building it into a single seated streetfighter arent you. Keep us posted with your progress.... Wayne

Not sure what you would call this bike. Not a street fighter cause it is a CB twin with a whopping 30hp. Paint will be flat black, cafe racer seat, alum engine, flat black engine covers. Not sure what else. might have some modern running gear if i can get something to fit. It will be different, that I can promise.

Cool, at first look I thought it might be a CB350 four, but I looked closer and thats why I edited my post. I think there is a 2-1 header on e-bay that might fit with a little mod... Keeo the progress pic's coming... Wayne

I kinda like the XS tank and tail -- definitely prefer the XS tail on this particular bike. Maybe the XS tank is a little tall, bulbous -- side view would be good.

Personally, I think a vintage racer look would be cool for your project, something like this (found with a little googling). Drill some parts for lightening, etc.

I like that XS tailpiece on there.

Here's a link to someones CL350 cafe project. Some nice work with lots of pictures. Might give you a little help on things.

I'm with elseed, go with the racer look. You already have the indented tank and tail from the Yam, they look good. Put on some clubmans, clipons, or even drag bars, it will look nice.

Either the XS tank and tail or like Duck said, KZ tank and no tail (I'm biased here haha). The Z tail is a bit big and long for this bike.
