If you're handy with rattlecans, no one will know the difference.

Oh yeah, should cost you about $20 and a week's worth of your time.

This is before any final detailing work or polishing.

Sure. Just be sure not to drip any gas on it. ;)

I do one color paint jobs for KZRider guys for about $400 plus shipping. I've done a set for a member from NY city and had no problems shipping undamaged.

I worked with a guy who was going to bodywork school in Boise. He needed money to go to SEMA and did mine for 650. Turned out great. He had trouble with the tail piece but other than that. The paint is the most expensive thing with a new paint job.

My 650B is in need of a paint job and I've been thinking of talking to a local body shop guy I know and finding out what I can do to take a bit of the expense out of it, strip the old paint, etc. For me it's money better spent letting someone who knows what they're doing paint it as my experience with painting isn't good.

I'm hoping that I can pick a time when he'll be painting a car in the color I want so it won't be a special job. When the weather gets a bit warmer I'll probably start in on it. If I can keep it in the $400 range I think that'll be reasonable.
