Swapping seats. was created by barquirt
Hi all...
I have a 1977 KZ650B1 model with the stock seat. I'm wondering if any other KZ seats will swap out with my stock setup.
Specifically, can the Gunfighter-style seat offered by Corbin for early KZ900/1000 models be grafted onto my bike? The shape and style of it would look good on the old girl I think. Anybody try this route?

I don't know if it will match up with a 900 seat, but i would think not because 900's are slightly longer I believe.
One route I would suggest you consider is getting one made, or making it yourself, (e.g. shape it yourself to what you want and put a sheet of 1/4 inch foam on top to even it out. Then get it upholstered.)
I have a guy in my town that does great upholstery work, and plan to have him cover my 650b seat once I shape it.
