I need the paint code for my 1978 Z1R.Some one paited it black.Like to go back to the factory color .Thanks

from my experience there are no paint codes.
I'd suggest you beg/borrow a part thats the right colour and match it at a local paint shop. This is what I had to do
It may be someone has already have made up some compatible paint and can give you the mix.

hi.
mine is a Mk2 engined 1980. I do have the silver/blue and a black/red stripe bodyset. (have a look at reproduction decals website.
The black is pretty easy - the silver blue a bit harder and it varied quite a bit based on the ones I've seen here in the UK.
I'm also the other side of the pond so I'm not going to be a lot of help to you..............
