idiot question.... was created by squints
how do you disassemble a turnsignal from the stem. I want to shorten the stock stems in the back, but I cant even get them apart from the actual signal. I looked at the parts diagrams, do i just pull till they come off???

You have to take the bolt all of the way out, it fits into a groove in the shaft. I also helps to put a thick screwdriver or a chisel or some other wedge into the slot to help loosen it from the shaft.

You may also want to put a little Kroil on it and let it work overnight. Ed
