Kz650 Left Side Cover ? was created by SenorPedro
Anyone have a line on KZ650 B - not SR - left side cover? I look on eBay pretty reguarly but it seems they are mostly crapped out and almost always the wrong side.
Drop me a line if anybody has one laying around....
Thanks,
-PEte

A lot of us here may have some covers laying around. A lot are available on ebay, problem is if you want a certain color or condition. I bid on a right side one for my bike in mint condition and it cost me $127, but it looks beautiful!! Just depends on how much work your willing to do (sanding, painting, etc)or how much money your willing to spend!

Like Bluemeanie said, it just depends on what you're willing to spend on a pristine (or decent looking) cover in the same color, or how much work (sanding and painting) you care to put into matching it to your bikes color.
FWIW, entering diff descriptions into the eBay "vehicle model" and "keyword" boxes (ex: KZ650/KZ 650/Z650/Z 650, cover/side cover/panel/side panel, etc.) will net you better results.
Though it won't win any beauty contests, here's one for example:
Kawasaki KZ650 B Z650 C Left Sidecover
The parts are out there, it just depends on how bad you want it/them and what you're willing to do to get it/them.

Also if you want a new original painted and all, try to order one through Kawasaki. A sidecover costs about $80 if it's still available. You never know unless you try. Some are still available till supplies are exhausted. Probably a pipe dream now, but 10 years ago or so you could still buy most KZ650 body parts. 10 yrs may have changed things.
