Seat woes

I am trying to replace or rebuild my seat ('78 kz1000 a2). No luck on the rebuilding, finding the right foam has got me messed up. I found a reproduction at the AmericanClassix website for a 73-75 900 Z1. According to the picture the pan looks identical. ( www.americanclassix.com/kawa_seats.html part # Z1SEAT)

Anyone know if this will fit my A2?

anyone have a stock seat or at least the foam in good used condition that will fit?

Help! i am tired of my butt riding on the metal pan!

If you can find a seat for a KZ 900 that will work also the seats from any 900/1000 LTD from 76 to 80 will also work. The earlier Z1 seats had a different seat locking setup and will not work without some mods.
