My right side cover is missing a post. What are some options to fixing this? Of course, if anyone has one laying around they don't want, let me know.

One of my covers lowest post is missing. I drilled a small hole in the side cover near the edge, and used a Black Zip tie to fasten to the frame.

You can epoxy a bolt into the location where the post used to be. Use SLOW CURE (24 hour) epoxy. Most hardware stores sell a product called Mortite. This stuff is clay in a string form... you basically build a dam around the bolt (or whatever you can use to sub for the post) and then pour epoxy into the dam. The epoxy will not stick to the Mortite and once the epoxy is set, you just remove the Mortite and the epoxy will cover the bolt head and adhere well to the inner side of the cover. The epoxy is stronger than the original plastic. Drill a hole in the bolt and safety wire it or use a cotter pin to ensure it doesn't come out.

Thank you for the suggestions, guys! Both ideas have their own merits, rstnick's idea provides a way to keep the cover attached to the bike on a semi-permanent basis, and WG's idea provides stealth. I jsut have to figure out which I prefer. Thanks, again.
