New GPS for the KZ
02 Jul 2007 07:51
Had a birthday a couple of weeks ago so I took some of my B'day money and buyed myself on a them thar GPS systems. The salesperson said it was the best one they sold. It's the "SW" model with the optional tank mount.
Works extremly well so long as you don't mind going south west all the time.
May be able to get a good discount if we can get a group buy order together.

I'm just wondering if the constant SSE reading MIGHT have something to do with MY magnatism?

PLUMMEN. Not sure? It was on the bike when I bought it. Obviously after market but not sure it brings anything to the equation other than chrome and extra weight!

I actually do have one mounted...
The Garmin "Quest 1". Waterproof, battery lasts around 10hrs (It's old... when new it lasted around 20-25hrs)

But SLICKWARE.....your model doesn't appear to have the ABG (Automatic Bubble Gauge)? See, on mine, when the bubble moves to the side (Left or Right), 60 degrees or more from the vertical, you KNOW you've got an impending problem needing immediate attention.
I just can't believe they'd sell you one without the ABG.

Biquetoast....I can't believe you missed it? Had to squeeze it in there so my Sig didn't run on to page 2! Better look out or I'll be suffering the wrath of WG.
