I have a set of headlight mounts on the way. Does anyone have a rectangular headlight with bucket for my 1980 kz1300 touring.
?? It can need painting . Please help. Thanks.
Ill pay for it, accept it as a gift and in either case pay for shipping.

If all the stock fairing/parts are good...KEEP THEM!
They only make the Touring one year.
Good luck on your project.
Later, Doug

yes I realize it was a one year thing but I an 5'3" tall and the fairing makes it dificult for me to hold the bike vertical when I am stopped. I have already replaced the rear shocks wot 1.5 inch shorter ones. The plastic is no longer as nice as it was in the photo I posted a while back but i am still keeping it all.

I gave up on the rectangular headlite. But I like the 7" round standard KZ unit just fine. I took the rectangular horn cover off and exposed the round horns. I think it looks pretty good.
It's an 81 and came with a fairing saddle bags and a top box.

Yes it does look good. I have been looking for a round headlight at this point myself.
I have the mirrors mounted already. There is a new batt in it now and the carbs were done over about 6 months back. It starts easily now and idles well even when cold. I also did the ninja cam chain adjuster. I wont take the bags off till i get a headlight mounted.
Thanks for the picture. It helps me visualize what I want to do.

I'm sold on the round headlight now. I have a bike breaker in ocala that will have what i need. I just have to get the headlight mounts installed. For some reason they are just sitting on the work bench looking at me.
Its hot down here:P
