options are only limited by your imagination. You can go back with stock or you can make most any seat you find fit. I personnally am running a stock seat off of a 2002 Dynaglide on my '83 750. It took a little out the box thinking to get it to fit. But I did it and it doesn't look bad. It is a good it more comfortable than stock too.
Figure out what you want and do it.
