Lost gas cap

Well I started getting the dents out of the gas tank and fixing the holes, had to stop for a month due to work schedual. I had the tank sand blasted and I coated the outside with zink metal spray, so I had to take the petcock off and the cap. Wouldnt you know I didnt pay enough attention to were I put the cap and now its missing:angry:
So I was wondering if anyone out there has a extra cap laying around. It doesnt have to be pretty.
I'm not done working with the tank so I just need something to seal the tank so I can ride. When I get the funds I'm going to purchase a new cap and petcock.
I'm also posting here to see if anyone has any Ideas on what I can use in the mean time.

Its a 77 KZ650B1 round tank design.

Check and see if a 76-79 KZ750 gas cap is the same, if it is then I will look and see if I have one. I have so many parts I can't remember what I have

I looked up a gas tank on ebay and it ia the same design.
Let me know if you find one

I have one from a 650 I could loan you till you get around to getting another one and I'm pretty close as well.
