anyone got the paint codes for a z1?

ok so i'm almost done with my 1000/1261 project.
( still looking for a set of 36 or 38 flatslides under $300 guys)
i have been trying to decide on a color for this for over a year now.
i really do like the root-beer orange colors like the one on our home page so i think i might do it in them colors.
where can i get the paint?
i'm not trying to make a clone since i have a j-headed motor with a a kerker and a bunch of other goodies.
e-bay searches cost to much for nos parts so i guess i'll paint my own.
any suggestions?

theres a guy who shows up once in a while on site who does custom painting who eplains the process but i cant remember his name.i dont think there are any actual codes for z1 paint;)

Wireman is correct, there were no paint codes for the early Z1's. However, Lacquerfumes (sp.?) is a KZR member (and has his own website) and has pretty well duplicated the early paint schemes AND will either paint your bike for you or sell you the correct paint.

theres a guy who had a freshly painted z1 tank for an avatar but i cant remember his name;)look in links section under paint workz,i think thats him;)

Everyone is correct, there are no paint codes. I sell the paint kits, but any custom bike painter should have the colors on hand to get a decent color match. It is a simple black and white base, a coarse silver pearl mid coat, and a candy orange top coat.
