KZ1000J footpegs
27 May 2007 12:11
Can someone please post a good photo of a set of factory pegs and brackets from a KZ1000J?
I am wanting to put a set of standard pegs and shifter/brake controls on my 1000P, and want to make sure I have all the holes I need to do so.

AHA! Even better!
I found this cherry on eBay: 140122952330 <-- item number.
Man, I remember when my "J" looked like that back in the day...naaaahhhh...mine never looked that good. Anyway, this 'J' is the nicest cherry that I've ever even heard of. He's got some good side pics, too that will show the foot controls.
Later,

PS> Found it with "KZ1000J" as a search.

Cool, I just won a set of left and right brackets, along with a brake pedal for a "J" for under fifteen bucks.
Looking at the brake pedal in the photos you linked, is the master cylinder on the P series and the J series the same? I guess I can go look at BikeBandit, huh?
Edited to add, yes its the same, according to the fiche on Bike Bandit. Looks like all I need now is a shifter....
