Rusty gas tank was created by SuperFlash
Hi Guys - new to the club and find it very interesting and helpfull. I made the sad mistake of leaving my 78 KZ1000 LTD fuel tank only half full of fuel and gas in the carbs over the winter. I know shame on me for such a silly mistake,I've been riding since 1965. But any way I followed the instruction posted by KZCSI on how to clean the tank and then seal it from further rust. Works like a charm !! I have several friends here in central Ohio whoe collect old Kawasaki's and they are going to try it also on there rusty tanks. Thanks again for all the good advise !!

 I could send you mine!
Just kidding, I actually decided to have a local fella do it for me. The price was right and I know it will be done right. I have my hands full just with painting the bike at the moment.
