Simple: width of KZ440 vs KZ400

Since I'm still new to all the cycles out there - thanks to everyone for helping.

I think I have a simple question here for someone who knows their KZs...

I found a great luggage rack for my gf's bike - an 82 KZ440 LTD. The only thing is that 1) the luggage rack doesnt have a year on it and 2) it says it is for a KZ400 (not a KZ440).

So before I purchase this (and it's in Idaho, so I cant see it first hand) does anyone know if a rack if made for the KZ400 would it fit a KZ440 reasonably well?
