Minicell foam

Who has upholstered and changed foam on their seat? I would like to do mine over, keeping the original shape.

Was thinking about using something called "Minicell". Anyone familiar with it? It seems like a great foam, closed cell, dense, and sandable. It is used a lot in the kayak industry to make form fitted seats and is said to be very comfortable and supporting.

What type of vinyl should I use, marine vinyl, 36 oz?

Thanks

Kent...just had My seat redone last season, and the Upholsterer used some material that would not glue to the foam. The seat has to be repaired(fixed up a bit).
I can't remember exactly, but I THINK the material is called "Winter-Sport"...more of a snowmobile seat vinyl, and not too good for motorcycles.Very strong, and durable though.
It was something in the backing of the material that wouldn't allow it to stick to the foam.
She(the Upholsterer) has a fix for it though, and I'll be taking it in maybe this week,to get it fixed.B)
